Really Bad Ads & other randomness

There are an exceptional amount of bad advertisements...

- The Verizon ads have taken a further turn for the worse:
- - The Shining reenactment ads
- - The ad with the annoying girlfriend who keeps calling her boyfriend - really - no girl is that good in bed - no guy would put up with that shit

- Back to School Ads - ALL of them. Here's the thing. Not since the invention of the Trapper Keeper has any of this stuff really been useful or new to the adverage tween that still cares about this kind of stuff. Stop with the ads.

- Fall Series Premieres. Really, it is still too early to talk about show premieres that are starting October 1. No one cares that Dirty Sexy Money returns then... We have over eight weeks to watch the same promo... UGH

OTHER RANDOMNESS
- Adding a "floater" (extra shot of 191 Rum) to your frozen Daiquiries while on Bourbon street is a bad idea. Adding two floaters is an even worse idea. Doing this multiple times, is inexplicable. But coming home to your hotel room, changing your flight, passing out and then not remembering what time you changed your flight to, is what we call being a bad, blond drunk... Don't try this at home.

- Don't spend a good part of a Sunday night with a guy wearing an Ivy League tee-shirt who, when asked if he went to said school replies "No, I just wore it so girls would think I'm smart" - enough said.

More to come - sleepy time.

I know - it's been a while

I know - it's been quite some time since I have blogged. Lot's going on here at Camp Kennedy. So, here is a fun down and then I'll get to the fun stuff.

After 5 years at my job, I am leaving to start my own company. So, the few spare minutes/hours of free time that I had - is gone. But I do think in the end I can reclaim my life. Oh yeah - and I can't botch about my bosses anymore - unless IU'm complianing about myself - and that would be just weird.

A few things I like about my new boss and my new situation
- I can work in sweatpants when needed
- I'm in charge of meetings
- no more manager meetings

Seriously though - I'll try to write more as things unfold.
