Friends - it might be cheesy - but one of my New Year's Resolutions is to write more. Once upon a time - I used to do this often. Not sure how I feel about posting - but we'll give it a try.
Looking back - I should have known
It should have been clear
Even obvious
But... I know now - what I had decided not to see.
Selfish isn't even what I would say
unavailability isn't even the point
stripped down - just me and you it's clear
deleting you is best for everyone
Its not about hate... and it's certainly not about love
its about me knowing that I can care
And remembering that now
I have the strength to say no more
Once upon a time I would have continued to love
But as of tomorrow
You will be gone
And a new day starts
